Who are we?
Map

We are a small group of Guernsey people concerned about the plight of the children affected by the radiation fallout following the nuclear accident at Chernobyl on 26th April 1986. The Guernsey Link was founded in 1993 in reply to an advert placed by Victor Mizzi in the Guernsey Evening Press looking for hosts. A number of people wrote to Victor showing interest. A Committee was then set up and a Constitution agreed on by the Trustees of the UK charity. The link is a member of the Guernsey Association of Charities (number 161) and has Sir de Vic Carey and Lady Carey as its patrons. It has established a small but dedicated committee. Since setting up, the Charity has had much support from Islanders and local businesses.
