We raise funds to finance and arrange for children to visit the Bailiwick of Guernsey for one month to recuperate in an unpolluted atmosphere, to eat good food and to improve their immune system and their health in general. Since the charity started in 1993 we have brought 274 children to Guernsey.

From the 8th of June until the 9th of July 2008, we will be bringing 14 children and one translator over to Guernsey. The children will stay in pairs with host families who welcome them in their homes and give freely of their time and costs. They take the children around to the interesting programme of events and functions, which the charity arranges, with the generous help and support of many local people and businesses, for them while they are here.

Dental treatment and eye tests are arranged for the children and are given free of charge to the Charity. This is greatly appreciated by the children as in a lot of cases dental treatment is done without anaesthetic back home and eye treatment is not always available.
